There are many possible ways to experience the passing of time. Clocks can pinpoint time to the second. But what if you want something more subtle – a gentle reminder of transient moments? Inspired by mountains slowly chiselled away over millions of years by wind and rain, ‘Panta Rhei’ by Seung Bin Yang is a sculptural timepiece for the interior. Made of soap foam, it changes shape, gradually evolving and fading with every use. In this way, time flows through our hands, a visual marker incorporated in our everyday activities and surroundings.
