The different elements of today’s firefighting clothing and equipment are not mutually coordinated. Adjusting them takes valuable time. There are problems fitting the breathing equipment and the harness, for example. The equipment in use today is designed for firefighting (20% of the activ ity) and not for technical assistance (80%). This modular fire brigade outfit is suited to both tasks. The overall can be used separately for technical assistance and together with the jacket, it becomes a total firefighting outfit. The breathing equipment and harness are partly integrated into the jacket, with a centrally located buckle, saving time and improving comfort and safety.
