Poor circulation, back problems and RSI; these are the common complaints brought on by days spent behind a desk. While increasing flex spaces offer fantastic facilities, from designer furniture to tasty coffee, nothing is done to address the health issues brought on by office work. With ‘Asana’, Mirjam de Bruijn aims to help prevent and alleviate such problems. This series of tools improves posture, strengthens muscles and stimulates blood flow. They are also designed to look inviting. In tune with a modern aesthetic, they are an alternative to current offerings, which are more like medical aids than something you want to be seen using.
